What are your daycare requirements? |
|
| The safety and health of your pet is our first concern. Our Dog Stop Play/Stay contract includes a personality profile so we can have some basic information about your dog's temperament and match him/her with the right playmates. All dogs in daycare must demonstrate adequate social skills and the ability to play safely. On the first day of play at The Dog Stop, we will evaluate your dog's interactions with other guests. If we find your dog isn't daycare friendly, we will place him/her in a separate room for the remainder of the day, except for personal walking sessions.
Prior to boarding and/or daycare, you must provide proof of the following vaccinations from your vet:
Bordetella - within the past 6 months
Parvovirus & Distemper- within the past 12 months
Rabies - proof of valid vaccination with either the shot given annually or every 3 years
We also require that your dog be on a regular flea and tick prevention program, such as Frontline or Advantage (not flea powder or collars).

When can I drop off my pet(s)?

Daycare Hours Mon - Fri 7am 4 to 7pm Sat 10am to 4pm
Boarding 365 days a year drop-off and pick-up Mon - Fri 7am to 7pm Sat 10am to 4pm
Sundays from 10am to 4pm for boarding drop-off and pick-up
The Dog Stop hours of operation will be limited to half days, 7am to 1pm, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
The Dog Stop is closed on all major holidays including but not limited to: New Years Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

When and what will my dog(s) be fed?

Unless there is a special need, daycare dogs are not fed during their play day at The Dog Stop. It is recommended that dogs are fed their meals at home.

What happens if I cannot drop-off or pick-up my dog during The Dog Stop's business hours?
|
|
We will do our best to help you out! Whenever possible we will make special arrangements to meet our clients' needs, although additional costs will apply. Tardiness that is not arranged for in advance may be subject to a 1 dollar per minute fee at the sole discretion of management.

What is your reservation/cancellation policy?
|
|
|
There is no required advance notice for daycare reservations or cancellation.
